Elk’s founder, Head of Engineering and Innovation, Baal, is an academic, professor, and systems architect with 17 years of experience. He is also an early blockchain pioneer and has been part of Web3 and crypto since 2011.
Distributed systems are putty in his hands and a solution to connect the proliferation of blockchains that exist in silos forms the crux of his drive to develop the ElkNet – the core component of Elk’s answer to the cross-chain question.
Seth creates and manages trading and arbitrage bots for Elk. He is passionate about all forms of trading, originally starting with traditional stock and options trading in 2015. Since 2020, his main focus has been DeFi.
He is talented and flexible in a range of languages; skills paramount in surmounting the distributed systems challenges that Elk has in its sights.

Vova, a savvy Team Lead, uses his coding smarts to keep our projects on track. From ruling game servers in 2014 to masterminding DeFi startups today, he’s our compass in the vast crypto ocean, guiding Elk’s blockchain innovations to success.

Ash, a Senior Software Engineer, brings 11 years of web app expertise to the table. With a flair for frontend and crafting stellar user experiences, he’s truly in his element at Elk. Add his crypto and blockchain skills, and we have a linchpin behind Elk’s successful dApp progress.
Alexey
Alexey, a Lead Software Engineer who adeptly handles dApp and smart contract interactions, ensuring user-friendly interfaces. With over 12 years in web development and a deep commitment to blockchain & DeFi, his innovative contributions play a key role in the success of Elk.

Colin is a Growth and Outreach mercenary. He holds a fine art degree and has a background in product and jewelry design, with a specialty in 3D Design. An avid problem solver, idea builder, and out-of-the-box-thinker, his life’s journey has armed him with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Greg has been a crepuscular crypto advocate since 2017, concentrating on strategy, content and management. A postgraduate education degree has paved a work journey spanning teaching, business development, management, SME entrepreneurship, social media, copyediting and copywriting.
He’s active across DeFi and Web3 but remains chain agnostic, thereby happily maintaining relationships with many actors in Web3 and countless protocols.
